Mavericks’ Hot Streak Continues

GAME COMMENTS:

The #1 ranked Shreveport/Bossier Mavericks controlled tempo early on against the hot
shooting Metroplex Lighting to lead 30-23 after one period of play.

In the 2nd quarter the Mavs started to pull away behind the hot shooting of Ed
Horton, Mike Crain, and Trey Moore. Alex Sanders came off the bench to give the
Mavericks a big time inside presence! The Mavs extended its lead to 19 points at
the half to lead at the break 73-54.

The Mavs dominated the second half as 9 Mavericks Players scored double figures led by Sanders Mavericks career
high 31 points on 13 of 14 shooting from the floor.

The Mavs cruised to their 22nd victory of the season.

The Mavericks also clinched its 4th straight Division Championship by winning the Gulf Coast Division for the 2nd
time (the Mavs have also previously won 2 Southwest Division
Championships).

The Mavericks move to 22-0 on the season. (22 straight wins is the best
start to a season in Mavericks History)

The Mavericks
have now won a record 48 straight games (55 straight wins at home)! This is the
longest Pro Basketball Winning Streak in Professional Basketball History! The
Mavericks hold a 111-7 record in the ABA over 4 seasons.

Thursday night, February 20th at the Hirsch Memorial Coliseum in Shreveport, LA.
