GAME COMMENTS:
The #1 ranked Shreveport/Bossier Mavericks overwhelmed a talented Dallas Diesel team on Saturday night at home at the Hirsch Memorial Coliseum in Shreveport, LA.
Before a big crowd at the HMC the Mavs put on one of its stellar displays of the season thus far!

7 Mavericks players scored double figures as the Mavs turned a close 1st half game into an epic blowout in the 2nd half.

Rafael "The Manimal" Johnson recorded a double/double with 18 points and 14 rebounds. Alex "The Ticket" Sanders had another banner night with 16 points and 5 rebounds. Johnson and Sanders as well nearly blew the roof off the Hirsch as they combined for 10 dynamic dunks in the game.

Currye Todd led the Mavericks with 20 points as he hit 5 three pointers. Todd was as dynamic on the outside as Johnson and Sanders were on the inside.
It was clearly a dominating victory for the Mavericks as they win their 20th on the season thus far!

MAVERICKS- Currye Todd-20 points, Rafael Johnson-18 points, Trey Moore-17 points, Mike Crain-17 points, Alex Sanders-16 points, Tony Hooper-12 points, Ed Horton-10 points

GAME SUPERLATIVES:
The Mavericks Defense again was excellent as they held the Diesel to 34% shooting for the game. The Mavericks also had 32 team assist and only had 15 turnovers for the game.

RECORD:
The Mavericks move to 20-0 on the season. (20 straight wins is the best start to a season in Mavericks History)

GAME NOTES:
The Mavericks have now won a record 46 straight games (53 straight win at home)! This is the longest Pro Basketball Winning Streak in Professional Basketball History! The Mavericks hold a 109-7 record in the ABA over 4 seasons.
