Shreveport-Bossier, LA- The ABA Mavs are excited to announce the return of former Maverick, Brandon Davis. The team believes he is an intricate part of their quest for a third ABA Championship.

The Birmingham, AL native played for the University of South Alabama averaging a high of 12.2 points and 7.3 rebounds per game, earning All-Conference honors in both the 2008 and 2009 seasons.

After his college career Davis played professionally in Lithuania during 2010 for Palanga Naglis-Adakris averaging 15 points and 10 rebounds per game. Davis was also a member of the 2011 ABA Championship Mavericks team averaging 11.5 points 7.5 rebounds per game.

When asked what he will bring to the new SB Mavs, the 6’9” 230 pound forward said, “A great attitude, high energy, low and high post scoring with the uncanny knack to rebound on the offensive glass.” The Mavs are very excited to have back who head coach and team president, Steve Tucker, calls, “One of top frontcourt players in the entire ABA.”
