Kentucky Mavericks Travel to Racine Storm and Indianapolis Diesels

For Immediate Release

By Benjamin Parsley

(Owensboro, Ky) – After moving to the PBL the Kentucky Mavericks have taken no time proving they are still the best, winning each of their first four games by an average of 26 points per game. PJ Couisnard leads the way for the red hot Mavericks averaging 20 points per game while center Brandon Davis is nearly averaging a double-double in points and rebounds.

The Kentucky Mavericks travel to Racine, Wisconsin to take on the Racine Storm. The Mavericks face the Storm three of the next four games. Racine has only played one games in this early season, losing to Danville 108-120.

In a very competitive league like the PBL the matchup will be very exciting in the road matchup with the undefeated Mavericks. The game is at 7 pm on Saturday, January 22.

After the trip to Racine, the Mavericks make a stop in Indianapolis on the way home to take on the Indianapolis Diesels only three days after the Mavericks beat the Diesels fairly easily 122-96 at the Owensboro Sportscenter.

Indianapolis played the Mavericks very hard, with a game that felt closer than the final 26 point lead. Since they will be on the road this time, the game should be very physical once again. Racine produces a fast paced attack, lead by the sweet shooting big man Brandon McGee who scored 30 and forward Tyrone Anderson who scored 23, who only missed 3 shots the entire night.

This game with the Diesels will be played in Indianapolis on Sunday, January 23 at 7 pm.
