GAME COMMENTS:
The #1 ranked Shreveport-Bossier Mavericks won their 88th consecutive game on Saturday night at the Hirsch Memorial Coliseum in Shreveport, LA!

With the win the Mavericks tie UCLA's 88 game winning streak, which for years set the standard for winning. The Mavs are now 2 wins away from equaling the U Conn Women's Team for the longest Winning Streak in Basketball History on any level.

The SB Mavericks were hitting on all cylinders on Saturday night in front of a huge crowd at the historic Hirsch Coliseum.

Josh Pace and Pj Couisnard set the tone for another dominating performance by the Mavs! Pace had a double/double in the first half. Couisnard ran the team from the point guard position and Shreveport-Bossier just flowed all night!

Brandon Davis and Jon Rogers again totally dominated the paint as the Mavericks took apart the talented All-Star Team from Dallas, TX made up of former NBA D League Players and veteran Pro Players who have been playing abroad.

GAME SUPERLATIVE:
The SB Mavericks had 9 Players score in double figures as their well balanced attack just flowed all night. Anthony Jackson led the way with 22 points. Josh Pace (18 point/10 rebounds) and Brandon Davis (12 points/10 rebounds) both recorded double/doubles. PJ Couisnard dished out 6 of the Mavs 21 assist for game.

RECORD:
The Mavericks finish with a back to back regular season undefeated record (28-0), and have now Won 88 consecutive games (tying the Great UCLA teams, who were coached by the Legendary Coach John R. Wooden).

GAME NOTE:
The Mavs have now won 89 straight games at Home (The SB Mavericks are 50-0 at the Hirsch Memorial Coliseum & are 62-0 since moving from SE Texas to Shreveport-Bossier, LA).

SCHEDULE:
The SB Mavericks will host the ABA Championship Finals April 7-13, 2015. The Mavericks will play the second game on April 7th vs the #4 seed of the Championship Finals. The #1 ranked SB Mavericks will be the #1 seed of the ABA Championship Finals.

MAVS COURTSIDE NOTE:
The SB Mavericks for the 2nd time go through the entire ABA regular season as the #1 ranked team in the ABA National Power Rankings. The Mavericks were the first team to accomplish this feat back in the 2010-11 season on their way to winning their 2nd ABA/Pro Basketball National Championship.
