GAME COMMENTS:
The #1 ranked Shreveport-Bossier Mavericks scored the first 10 points of the game and never looked back on Saturday night at the Hirsch Memorial Coliseum in Shreveport, LA vs the Texas Rimrockers.

The revamped roster of the Rimrockers had no answers for the Mavericks as PJ Couisnard, Josh Pace, and Brandon Davis set the tone early on for the Mavericks.

The Mavs bench was dynamic on the night as well. Currye Todd, Tyrone Hamilton, and Jonathan Phelps all had big games off the bench for the Mavs as the Mavericks cruised to a 136-72 victory.

LEADING SCORERS:
Mavericks - Currye Todd 22, Jonathan Phelps/Josh Pace 16, Mike Crain 11, Jon Rogers 10

Rimrockers: Lance Murray 17, Eddie Bolden 13, Shawn Umeh 10

GAME SUPERLATIVE:
Josh Pace scored 16 points on 8 of 9 shooting from the field for the Mavs. Currye Todd hit 6 three pointers as he led the Mavs with 22 points. Brandon Davis and Kenneth Cooper both pulled down 8 rebounds to lead the Mavericks on the boards. Tyrone Hamilton continued his recent stellar play by dishing out 6 assist.

RECORD:
The Mavericks are 26-0 on the season, and have now Won 86 consecutive games (only 2 shy of the Great UCLA teams, who were coached by the Legendary Coach John R. Wooden).

GAME NOTE:
The Mavs have now won 87 straight games at Home (The SB Mavericks are 48-0 at the Hirsch Memorial Coliseum & are 60-0 since moving from SE Texas to Shreveport-Bossier, LA).

SCHEDULE:
The Mavericks will host the Texas Rimrockers again on Sunday afternoon. Tip-off is at 4 PM.

MAVS COURTSIDE NOTE:
If the SB Mavericks can continue on with it's winning ways they will become only the second team ever in the history of the ABA Power Rankings to be ranked #1 for the entire season. The Mavericks accomplished this feat the only other time it has been done during the 2010-11 season as the Mavericks were on their way to winning their 2nd ABA/Pro Basketball National Championship.
