GAME COMMENTS:
Again on Sunday afternoon the #1 ranked Shreveport-Bossier Mavericks (15-0) got an early challenge from the Texas Rimrockers (1-2).

But again former ABA MVP's came up big for the Mavs. Josh Pace (the 2010 Regular Season & Championship Finals MVP), PJ Couisnard (2011 Championship Finals MVP), and Tony Hooper (2013 Championship Finals MVP), along Chris Hagan led the Mavericks to a 76-50 halftime lead.

In the 2nd half the Mavs made a key defensive adjustment taking off their full court press and shortening the court on the Rimrockers. This allowed the Mavs to lock-down Texas and only allow them 11 third period points.

In the 4th quarter the Mavericks continued their excellent all-around play to cruise to their 15th victory of season.

GAME SUPERLATIVE:
Josh Pace recorded another Double/Double with 16 points & 11 rebounds. Kenneth Cooper was outstanding off the bench with 16 points (on 7-7 FG shooting) & pulled down 7 rebounds. The Mavericks pulled down 59 rebounds for the game out rebounding Texas 59-36.

RECORD:
The Mavericks are 15-0 on the season, and have now Won 75 consecutive games.

GAME NOTE:
The Mavs have now won 79 straight games at Home ( The SB Mavericks are 40-0 at the Hirsch Memorial Coliseum).

SCHEDULE:
The #1 - SB Mavericks will host the #2 - Bowling Green Bandits next Saturday night at the Hirsch Memorial Coliseum.
This will be the second time this season #1 will face #2. The Mavericks defeated the Jacksonville Giants in a December match-up at the HMC. Tip-off will be at 7 PM next Saturday evening, January 10th. The game will be aired also on ESPN 3.

MAVS COURTSIDE NOTE:
Anthony Jackson sat out the second half of today's game with bone spurs in his foot. This not serious and Jackson is listed day to day.
